Drawing on area history, a sense of adventure and an appreciation for the great outdoors, the Huntingdon County Arts Centerβs annual call for entries show seeking works inspired by Raystown
Folk College is right around the corner, and it is on Memorial Day weekend at Juniata College. Two outstanding concerts are on tap for Friday, May 24, and Saturday, May 25, at 7 pm at Halbritter Center on the campus. Tickets are available at the door.

The classes are from 9 to 11 a.m. Monday through Thursday, with a different theme each week. The cost for each weekly session is $90. All classes will be taught by experienced art teachers with clearances. ![]()

For the third year, the Arts Council will hold a Summer Art Camp for Kids at the Huntingdon County Arts Center. There will be separate weekly sessions for 5- to 8-year-olds and 9- to 12-year-olds, both from 9 to 11 a.m. Monday through Thursday.![]()
