Announcing Spring Thaw 2022

We are excited to invite K to 12 students to submit their art and writing to Spring Thaw 2022, a juried Youth Art & Writing Exhibition by the Huntingdon County Arts Council. The exhibit will be open to the public at the new Huntingdon County Arts Center (the former 12th Street Methodist Church), at the corner of 12 and Mifflin St, Huntingdon.

Art Submissions

Monday & Tuesday, April 4 & 5, from 2 to 6 pm
at the new Huntingdon County Arts Center (the former 12th Street Methodist Church), at the corner of 12 and Mifflin St, Huntingdon.
There is an entry fee of $1 per entry. Entry is limited to 1 entry per category per person.

Writing Submissions

Must be received by Tuesday, April 5. Drop off at the Arts Center, mail to: HCAC, PO Box 216, Huntingdon, PA 16652 or email to [email protected].

Public Show

April 8 to May 1
Thursday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday
11 am - 5 pm each day
at the new Huntingdon County Arts Center (the former 12th Street Methodist Church), at the corner of 12 and Mifflin St, Huntingdon.

Pick Up

We had a great opening reception for our Rural Rising exhibit on Thursday. The exhibit is our Call for Entries exhibit based on the theme Rural Rising (which we "borrowed" from the Rural Rising seminar at Juniata College.We have 59 works of art from 20 different local artists, so come check it out.The exhibit is free and runs through May 3.
