Summer Solstice Party at the Gage Mansion June 21

June 21 is the summer solstice, the longest day of the year, and the date when the sun reaches its highest point in the northern sky. It is also the day of the Arts Council’s Summer Solstice Party. 

The event will run from 5 to 9 p.m. on the grounds of the Gage Mansion at 317 Penn Street in Huntingdon. Tickets for the event are $30 per person. Participants will enjoy a meal catered by Three Twelve Kitchen & Cocktails as well as live music from two bands,Biscuit Jam and Harley Rae. Nonalcoholic beverages are included, although a cash bar will be available for wine and beer purchases. Vendors will have art for sale too. 

This is an opportunity to celebrate the first day of summer, enjoy good food, hear live music, meet and mingle with interesting people, and support the Arts Council at the same time. So be sure to mark your calendars for June 21.

Tickets for this special event may be purchased by selecting the button below, or can be purchased at the Huntingdon County Arts Center, the Gage Mansion, Three Twelve Kitchen & Cocktails, Thompson’s Candle Shop, Boxers, Stone Town Tavern, Sweethearts Confection, Juniata Brewing Company, Standing Stone Coffee Company, and will also be available at the door.

Vienna Serenade in ConcertSituated on the Danube River in Austria, Vienna was the music capital of Europe for many years—a place that most of Europe’s leading classical and romantic era composers called home. At the Huntingdon County Arts Center, we offer seven different weeks of summer art camp for kids, for 9- to 12-year-olds. The classes are from 9 to 11 a.m. Monday through Thursday, with a different theme each week. The cost for each weekly session is $90.
