Concerts on the Quad Return

Category:Concerts

After two years, the Concerts on the Quad music series will return with four different concerts and is in partnership with Juniata College.
The concerts place on the quad lawn In front of the Halbritter Center for the Performing Arts on Juniata College campus.

Our first concert is Thursday, June 30 and kicks off the series with the always popular Big Band Sound, with their mix of sounds from the six decades of music.

Thursday, July 7 features the jazz and soulful sound of Urban Fusion.
Thursday, July 14 features the oldies vibe of Acoustic Express.

Thursday, July 21 is Art Walk Huntingdon, so we will skip that week and the week after.

And the series concludes on Thursday, August 4 with Crooked Line.

All concerts start at 7 p.m. and are on the Juniata College lawn in front of the Halbritter Center for the Performing Arts.
The concerts are free, but donations are collected and given to the musicians.

The rain location for all concerts is the Huntingdon County Arts Center, 313 12th Street, Huntingdon (the former 12th Street Methodist Church).

So, bring your lawn chairs, your blankets, picnic supplies and your friends and family to the Juniata College quad, in front of the Halbrittter Center for the Performing Arts.

The group consists of 11 professional musicians who recreate the glorious music of the 19th century. Hear waltzes and familiar works by Strauss, Dvorak, Waldteufel, and other famous composers, played by musicians who love this music.
