Description
Teri Smith, of Barron Hill, will teach a two-session class on basic wire wrapping techniques to use on gemstones, pebbles, or beach shells. The
the class will make pendants, although the same techniques
can be applied to earrings.
Students will receive a kit that includes bronze and copper wires, findings to finish pendants, inexpensive neck cords, and metal and stone beads for enhancements, plus stones, shells, and beads sufficient for each participant to make two or three pendants. Tools will be available for use, and students are welcome to bring their own favorite stones or shells.
The first session will be on Thursday, February 2, and the second session will be on Thursday, February 9. Both classes will run from 6 to 8 p.m.
The class is limited to 8 students and costs $75 for members and $80 for nonmembers.
