Big Band Sound Kicks Off Concerts on the Quad Music Series June 8

Category:Events
The Huntingdon County Arts Council and Juniata College once again are bringing music to the community with our Concerts on the Quad music series.

Kicking off the season and also helping to kick off the 250th Anniversary of the Founding of Huntingdon Weekend Celebration, is the ever popular Big Band Sound.

The Big Band Sound plays favorites of six decades with the sold sound of the big band approach.

The concert is sponsored by Community State Bank.

Bring your lawn chairs, your blankets, picnic supplies and your friends and family to the Juniata College quad, in front of the Halbrittter Center for the Performing Arts. These outdoor concerts are free (donations appreciated). For this concert only, an alternate rain location is the Huntingdon High School auditorium.

After the concert (weather permitting) we will launch 250 luminaries to help kick off the weekend celebration of the 250 years of Huntingdon.
