Description

Join us on Sunday, July 28, at 2 p.m., for a great music concert by the Altoona Brass Collective.

The Altoona Brass Collective was formed in 2017 by musicians who share a love of brass instruments and a desire to bring high-quality live music to central Pennsylvania. Although the group has performed at a variety of events and venues throughout our region, this will be their first performance in Huntingdon. The performance at the Arts Center will involve a double quintet (10 players) from the larger ensemble. Joining the group will be our own Jordan Canner, the Director of Bands at Huntingdon Area High School. The Collective has recorded one CD of hymns and holiday music. All of the group’s music is written by group members—nothing is taken “off the shelf.”

Tickets are $20 for general admission and $16 for Arts Council members and students (with ID).
Admission is free for children 12 and under.
