Vision Quest Exhibit Open July 7 to 29

Artist and Stone Valley Community Charter School art and music teacher Shawn McCullough will exhibit his paintings from July 7 to 29. Shawn’s creativity will be on display, including some rather large pieces of art.

In a departure from our routine, the Artist’s Reception will not be until Thursday, July 20 as part of Art Walk Huntingdon. Shawn will be on hand from 5 to 8 pm. Join us then for light refreshments and a chance to meet Shawn.

The exhibit will be open through Saturday, July 29.

The Art Space is open:
Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, from 12 pm to 6 pm
Saturday from 10 am to 4 pm

The Art Space is located at 212 Fourth Street in downtown Huntingdon.

Huntingdon County Arts Council
At the Huntingdon County Arts Center, we offer seven different weeks of summer art camp for kids, for 9- to 12-year-olds. The classes are from 9 to 11 a.m. Monday through Thursday, with a different theme each week. The cost for each weekly session is $90. All classes will be taught by experienced art teachers with clearances. The first week's class theme is 𝟐-𝐃 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝟑-𝐃 𝐍𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐥𝐞 𝐅𝐞𝐥𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 with expert Kari Roslund. Does your child enjoy art? Do you want to expand your child’s artistic talents?For the third year, the Arts Council will hold a Summer Art Camp for Kids at the Huntingdon County Arts Center. There will be separate weekly sessions for 5- to 8-year-olds and 9- to 12-year-olds, both from 9 to 11 a.m. Monday through Thursday.The cost for each weekly session is $90. Only three weeks away! Tickets include snacks from Standing Stone Coffee Company (hummus, artichoke dip, veggie platter, fruit and cheese platter, and pastries), mineral water and soft drinks.
