Enter Your Artwork at the Fair

Category:Events

The Huntingdon County Fair is happening–August 3 to 9!  Every year, the Huntingdon County Arts Council operates Department 19, Art & Photography at the Art Station next to the Midway Stage.

Now is the time to think about entering your artwork for the fair. Entries for art & photography, will be accepted Saturday, August 2, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., at the Art Station on the fairgrounds.

You may enter one (and only one) entry in each class, such as watercolor, acrylics, etc. The list of classes may be found at https://www.huntingdoncountyfair.com/exhibitors/

The best way to prepare is to  preregister your artwork. To preregister, go to: https://www.huntingdoncountyfair.com/exhibitors/

For procrastinators: if you do NOT register before you come, you may still bring your art & photography to the fair. However, you must register onsite BEFORE you bring your items to the Art Station. Registration is at the Livestock Office at the far end of the fairgrounds.

It is FREE to enter, and you can win $$$. Judging will be held on Sunday morning. The Art Station will open for public viewing later on Sunday and throughout the week.

Visit the Art Station During the Fair

The Art Station will be open during the fair from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. (except on Sunday when judging takes place).

Make sure to stop in and check out the amazing talent on display from your friends and neighbors from throughout Huntingdon County, as well as the diversity of artistic talent that will be on display.
