Festivals

In our effort to bring art and cultural opportunities to Huntingdon County, the Huntingdon County Arts Council runs three festivals–two music festivals and a fiber festival.

Folk College

Folk College is a fun and friendly weekend of playing and listening to folk music. The festival is held Memorial Day weekend held at Juniata College in Huntingdon.
This year Folk College is May 26-28, 2023.

Folk College brings to Huntingdon some top folk music talent.
This year’s lineup includes host band Simple Gifts, Pittsburgh-based folk/Americana group Buffalo Rose, country blues duo Piedmont Blūz, new old-fashioned duo Resonant Rogues, Celtic duo Rakish, Asia meets Appalachia group Appalasia, and more.
