A Special Evening: Silent Film Night with Live Music

Category:Events

Saturday, January 27, 7 pm

An unforgettable evening will take place at the Huntingdon County Arts Center on Saturday, January 27, when Andrew Greene provides live piano music to accompany several short, classic silent films. Andrew is one of the country’s leading authorities on silent film accompaniment. He also is an incredibly talented pianist who specializes in ragtime and early American music.

The evening of film and music will include three classic, well-loved comedies:
Buster Keaton’s Cops (1922)
Charlie Chaplin’s The Rink (1916)
Harold Lloyd’s Get Out and Get Under (1920)

You won’t want to miss this unique evening of music and humor.
The event starts at 7 p.m.

Tickets are $20 for general admission and $16 for Arts Council members and students (with ID).
Admission is free for children 12 and under.
