Art Walk Huntingdon Back in October
Category:EventsAfter a 7 month hiatus,Β Art Walk HuntingdonΒ was back for the month of October, 2020!
Art Walk Huntingdon was held on Thursday, October 15, from 5 to 8 pm.
Art Walk was concentrated on 2 venues in uptown Huntingdon with careful physical distancing protocols.
Standing Stone Coffee Company hosted live music in its courtyard along with an artist marketplace. The Huntingdon County Arts Council gave free kidβs Art Walk t-shirts with a station to decorate them with fabric paint and markers. The t-shirts were provided by Huntingdon Landmarks, Inc. through funds raised by previous Art Walks.
The Juniata College Museum of Art hosted two outdoor activities. The MudJunkies Ceramics Club allowed attendees to purchase and glaze greenware which was fired on-site in a Raku Kiln. There was also be a blacksmithing demonstration as well as other activities.
All participants were encouraged to wear masks and/or face shields during the event.
