The Huntingdon show, originally scheduled for Saturday, June 28, is cancelled.

U.S. Army Captain Jack Ludwig, a military doctor stationed in Oregon, begins writing to Louise Rabiner, an aspiring actress and dancer in New York City, hoping to meet her someday if the war will allow. But as the war continues, it threatens to end their relationship before it even starts. Tony Award-winning playwright Ken Ludwig tells the joyous, heartwarming story of his parents’ courtship during World War II, and the results are anything but expected.

Lainey Albaugh will perform in concert at the Huntingdon County Arts Center. She is a soprano and is a senior vocal performance major at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Her recital will feature selections from both classical and musical theater repertoire, including works by Puccini, Strauss, Richard Rodgers, and Stephen Schwartz. Originally from Huntingdon, Lainey appeared in several local musicals before continuing her studies at IUP. Recent roles include Jo in Little Women and Gretel in Hansel and Gretel.Lainey will be accompanied by Cheryl Latten.
