Holiday Shoppe Open This Week

Category:Events

There is still time to shop at the Arts Council’s annual Holiday Shoppe. We are open daily though Thursday, December 23 from 11 am to 5 pm at The Playhouse at McConnellstown. The address is 11680 Raystown Road, only a 10-minute drive from downtown Huntingdon.

There is a LARGE selection of unique gifts, from jewelry, pottery, paintings, and other items from local artists that make wonderful presents.

This year we are featuring a large number of local artists, including Amy Bomboy, Eileen Butchkoski, Bill Crownover, Carolanne Currier, Chris Drobnock, Gretchen Eichensehr, Holly Foy, Ginny Gill, Prudence Ingerman, Jenny Landis, Jeanne Peterson, Rebecca Reck, Harlin Ritchey, Kari Roslund, John Rumpf, Susan Simpson, Terri Smith (Barron Hill), Jack Troy, and Betty Walters, along with a wonderful assortment of iems from the Redbud Quilt Guild.

And remember: current Huntingdon County Arts Council members save 10% on purchases.

When you purchase items from the Holiday Shoppe, you have the satisfaction of supporting local artists as well as your Arts Council. You will find that our offerings are not only of high quality but also reasonably priced. So don’t forget to include some local art in your holiday shopping this year. Santa would approve.
