Invitation to Sell Artwork at Holiday Shoppe 2021

Category:Events

The Holiday Shoppe is your opportunity to sell your artwork and support the Huntingdon County Arts Council. We will hold our annual Holiday Shoppe at The Playhouse at McConnellstown, 11680 Raystown Road (Route 26), Huntingdon.

This year the Holiday Shoppe will open on Black Friday, November 26 and be open though December 23.

Details:

Drop Off your work at The Playhouse at McConnellstown:
Monday & Tuesday, November 15 & 16, 1-6 pm.
PLEASE WEAR A MASK!

Pick Up your unsold work:
Tuesday & Wednesday, January 4 & 5, 1-6 pm.

We recommend that artists to mark up their work 30%. The Arts Council will take a 30% commission on each work sold, and we handle the 6% sales tax. At the Shoppe’s conclusion, the Arts Council will write a check to each artist reflecting the amount of their sales.

Special notes for this year:

  1. If you haven’t done so, please RSVP and let us know if you want to participate. Send a confirm email to John Kearns at johnk@huntingdoncountyarts.com
  2. We request that you pre-fill out the Holiday Shoppe Artist Inventory 2021. Ideally, we would like you to email us the inventory sheet to use before you drop off your artwork.
  3. We will need a Hold Harmless Agreement 2021 and Sales Agreement 2021 from each artist.
  4. Please label your artwork with your 3 initials, then a dash, then a number that corresponds to the number on the inventory sheet. For example: “ABC-1”. If you have similar items at the same price (notecards, hats, etc.), we strongly suggest you make them one item number with the total quantity. (For example, Notecards, XYZ-01, quantity 24).

Want to share that you’re selling with us? Spread the word on Facebook and Instagram!

If you have any questions, feel free to contact Executive Director John Kearns at johnk@huntingdoncountyarts.com.
