Invitation to Sell Your Artwork at Huntingdon’s Choice Marketplace

Category:Uncategorized

We want to extend an invitation to you to sell your artwork at our Huntingdon’s Choice Marketplace, our “Christmas in July” sales event.

This special opportunity is at the Huntingdon County Arts Center, 313 12th Street, Huntingdon. This will take place in the main gallery space of the Arts Center.

The Huntingdon’s Choice Marketplace will open on Tuesday, July 16 and be open though Saturday, August 10.

Details:

Drop Off your work at the Huntingdon County Arts Center, 313 12th Street, Huntingdon:

Thursday, Friday, or Saturday, July 11, 12 & 13, between 10 a.m. to 5 pm.

Pick Up your unsold work:

Monday & Tuesday, August 12 & 13, 1-6 pm.

Please RSVP and let us know if you want to participate. Send a email to John Kearns at
[email protected]

We recommend that artists to mark up their work 30%. The Arts Council will take a 30% commission on each work sold, and we handle the 6% sales tax. At the sale’s conclusion, the Arts Council will write a check to each artist reflecting the amount of their sales.

We request that you pre-fill out an inventory sheet. Ideally we would like you to email us the inventory sheet to use before you drop off your artwork. If you currently have items in the Art Shoppe, we want a complete new inventory sheet with both new and existing items.

Please label your artwork with your 3 initials, then a dash, then a number that corresponds to the number on the inventory sheet. For example: “ABC-1”. If you have similar items at the same price (notecards, hats, etc), we strongly suggest you make them one item number with the total quantity. (For example, Notecards, XYZ-01, quantity 24).

We will need a signed Hold Harmless Agreement and signed Sales Agreement from each artist (unless you have signed one this year).
