Last Day to Register: February 19
Class Description:
Whether you’re new to stranded knitting (also known as Fair Isle) or have dabbled with a color or two but felt intimidated by projects with many colors, this class is for you! You’ll also learn how to create beautiful corrugated ribbing—a unique, colorful technique that adds texture and charm to your work.
If you can knit and purl, you can learn to strand! We’ll explore simple methods for working with multiple colors, including tips for using both hands to make your knitting smoother, faster, and more enjoyable. By the end of class, you’ll see just how approachable and fun stranded knitting can be!

About the Instructor:
Cynthia taught writing and educational psychology at Penn State for many years before dedicating the past two decades to designing patterns and immersing herself in the world of knitting, cross stitch, and quilting.
She is the owner of Stitch Your Art Out, a local fabric and yarn shop in Pine Grove Mills, and the creative mind behind Really Clear Designs, her line of knitting and quilting patterns.
Really Clear patterns were born from Cynthia’s extensive experience working with hundreds of knitters and quilters, gaining insight into what they need for success.
Her specialty lies in helping crafters achieve beautiful, satisfying results with their projects.
