Description

Brian Ford will teach a two-session class on his techniques for masterful illustrations. Learn the basics of landscape drawing using pen and ink as well as a ballpoint pen. The course will focus on composition, contrasts, depth, and highlights, as well as various techniques used when creating a landscape drawing in monochrome.

The first session is Tuesday, September 13, and the second session is Tuesday, September 20. Both sessions are from 7 to 9 p.m.

The two-session course costs $45 for nonmembers and $40 for members.

Students need to bring:

  • mixed media/ pen & ink 9″ x 12″ sketchbook
  • 2H sketching pencil
  • Gum eraser
  • Micron pens (tip sizes: 005, 01, 03)
  • Ruler

Classes are held at the Huntingdon County Arts Center (formerly the 12th Street Methodist Church) at 313 12th Street, Huntingdon.
