Learn a new skill and take your craft up a notch or two at Fiber ArtsFest 2018.
There are two days of classes and a one-day Vendor Marketplace (on Saturday, September 15).

You can choose from 15 different classes over the two day event on Friday, September 14 and Saturday, September 15.
All classes are at the Huntingdon County Fairgrounds.

Friday, September 14 Classes

Full Day
Beginning Tapestry Weaving, weaving
Rangeley Stars Wall Quilt, quilting

Half Day Morning
3-D Frosty Ornament, needle felting
Stick & Strings, weaving
Tricot: Portuguese Knitting, knitting

Half Day Afternoon
Embellishing Felting with Cookie Cutters, needle felting
How to Take A Sweater Apart, knitting
Spring Bags, weaving

Saturday, September 15 Classes

Full Day
Impromptu Appliqué, appliqué
Designing Fabulous Fabric, fabric art
Mariner’s Art Cuff, beading

Half Day Morning
Lace Triangle Shawl, knitting
Draw String Project Bag, sewing

Half Day Afternoon
Modular Knitting, knitting
Decorative Knot Tying, knots

We had a great opening reception for our Rural Rising exhibit on Thursday. The exhibit is our Call for Entries exhibit based on the theme Rural Rising (which we "borrowed" from the Rural Rising seminar at Juniata College.We have 59 works of art from 20 different local artists, so come check it out.The exhibit is free and runs through May 3.
