Revamped gave a masterful, dazzling performance at the Arts Center two years ago, and the audience responded with a rousing standing ovation. Now they are bringing a program of new material, along with some well-loved favorites, to the Arts Center again.ย
Revamped is a husband and wife team of violinists who combine classical, folk, jazz, and rock styles in a unique way. Their performances include complex arrangements, electronic instruments, theatrical elements, and signature stunts that amaze audiences. They have performed individually and together in a variety of venues across the United States and around the world.ย
This is your opportunity to enjoy them once more, or if you didnโt hear them two years ago, find out how just how entertaining music can be right here in Huntingdon. ย
Mark Minnich has a B.M. in violin performance from Bowling Green State University and an M.A. in music theory and history from Penn State University. He currently is Concertmaster of the Williamsport Symphony Orchestra, teaches in the State College Suzuki Program, and was President of the Pennโs Woods Music Festival in State College.ย
Sally Williams Minnich has Bachelorโs and Masterโs Degrees in violin performance from Bowling Green State University and a Masterโs Degree in music education from Penn State University. She currently is the Director of the State College Suzuki Program.ย ย
The concert will be on Sunday, August 11 at 2 p.m. in theย Huntingdon County Arts Centerย (formerly the 12th Street Methodist Church) at the corner of 12th & Mifflin Streets in Huntingdon.
Tickets are $20 for the general public and $16 for current Arts Council members and students (with ID). Children under 12 are free.
