Striation Exhibit Opens Friday, February 2

Category:Exhibits

The Huntingdon County Arts Council is pleased to present Striation, an exhibit welcoming two artists from outside our community — Scranton, PA’s Kathy Nazar and western Maryland-based Annie Simcoe. Both artists celebrate traditions and push the boundaries of watercolors, textiles, photography, natural fibers, and handmade paper. Their work explores the vibrance of flora and fauna, history, culture, and the topography of the natural world.

The exhibit had an artists’ reception for the Striation exhibit on Saturday, February 17 from 6 to 8 pm.

The exhibit will be open through Saturday, February 24.

The Art Space is open:
Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, from 12 pm to 6 pm
Saturday from 10 am to 4 pm

The Art Space is located at 212 Fourth Street in downtown Huntingdon.
