
Take Note & Anita Roseborough, Concerts on the Quad, July 26
Category:EventsA double bill will perform at the fourth concert of the Concerts on the Quad music series on Thursday, July 26. Vocal group Take Note and singer Anita Roseborough will both entertain. This concert is sponsored by Mutual Benefit Group.
Take Note is a versatile vocal group covering a wide range of musical styles. The group is lead by Bill Croissant. Anita Roseborough is an acoustic guitarist/singer with over 40 years experience performing as a solo artist and a group vocalist. She plays a blend of cover music from the past five decades with a focus on contemporary folk-rock. Her program combines familiar and not so familiar ballads as well as feel-good, upbeat music. Her singing style has been likened to those of folk artists Joan Baez and Judy Collins.
In the event of rain, the concert will be at the Stone Church. Look for notices on the Arts Council’s website and Facebook page.
Bring your lawn chairs, your blankets, picnic supplies and your friends and family to the Juniata College quad, in front of the Halbrittter Center for the Performing Arts.
The 2018 music series features five different concerts and is in partnership with Juniata College. The other remaining concert are:

The rain location is the Stone Church of the Brethren.
All concerts start at 6:30 p.m. and are on the Juniata College lawn in front of the Halbritter Center for the Performing Arts. The concerts are free, but donations are collected and given to the musicians.
