The group consists of Gabriel Herrera on trombone, Bob Hart on guitar, Alex Mijangos on bass, Kevin Lowe on drums, and special guest Rick Hirsch on saxophone. Gabriel Herrera is a New York City and (now) State College-based jazz musician and composer. He has performed at a variety of acclaimed venues, such as the Montreux Jazz Festival, the Lincoln Center, and Jazz à Vienne. Members of his group have had extensive experience touring and performing with many well-known performers in the jazz and pop world. Special guest Rick Hirsch is an award-winning composer, arranger, and saxophonist who has written for a variety of jazz icons, including Yosef Lateef and Tito Puente. Tickets are $20 ($16 for Arts Council Members and students) and are available at the Art Center (313 12th Street, Huntingdon) during opening hours (Tuesday-Saturday, 10-5), online at huntingdoncountyarts.com, and at the door.
