Join us this Saturday at the Huntingdon County Fairgrounds for PA Fiber ArtsFest on Saturday, September 23. The event promotes fiber arts and the creative uses of diverse fibers.

A free one-day vendor Market Place features a variety of fiber and other vendors, along with demonstrations, and simple craft projects to do called make & takes. The vendor fair showcases a wide variety of fiber products and fiber creations. As a significant bonus, the Fair’s Farm Museum will be open. The Market Place is open from 9 am to 5 pm in Johnson Hall.

Admission and parking are free.

Make & Take Schedule

Family Friendly Activities

The small craft projects know as Make & Takes are family friendly activities for young and old alike and are available as part of the Fiber ArtsFest Market Place, located at the Huntingdon County Fairgrounds in Johnson Hall and will be open ONE DAY ONLY on Saturday, September 23 from 9 am to 4 pm.

Make & Takes are guided activities with instruction.
Children must be accompanied by responsible teen or adult.

10 am Hand Stitching – Seals and Sheep
11 am Fold and Stitch Coasters
12 pm PomPoms
1 pm Seasonal Decorations – Penguins and Pumpkins
2 pm Appliqué trees and snow flakes
3 pm Santas and Witches

Area 2
9 am – 4 pm Sit and Stitch Table

Beginner Crochet Lessons will be available throughout the day at the Make and Take area.
