Attention Artists: Call for Entries for October Show Luminosity
Category:ExhibitsOctober is the Huntingdon County Arts Council’s annual Call for Entries exhibit.
We invite area artists to submit entries based on the theme of Luminosity. The theme is inspired by a quote from Galilio: “It is a beautiful and delightful sight to behold the body of the moon.”
Artists work accepted includes all media, such as 2D and 3D artwork, poetry, and prose, all based on, inspired by, or related to the theme of Luminosity.
Submissions
Artwork will be accepted on Tuesday, October 1 & Wednesday, October 2, from 2 to 6 pm, or by appointment.
Please include a brief artist’s statement with each submission.
Pick-up
Monday, October 28 and Tuesday, October 29, from 2 to 6 pm or by prior arrangement.
Artists’ Reception
Friday, October 4, 6 to 8 pm
Show dates
October 4 to 26, 2019
Show Hours
Tues, Thurs, Fri 12 to 6pm, Sat 10 to 4pm
The Huntingdon County Arts Council exhibit will be at The Art Space, 212 Fourth Street in downtown Huntingdon, PA.
