We received an amazing diversity in art forms from 20 artists and one organization, including paintings, prose, poetry, ceramics, photography, a quilt, drawings, a collage, digital art, fiber art, sculpture, needle felting, rug hooking, and encaustic paintings.
Don’t miss the amazing quilt by the Redbud Quilt Guild for the U.S. Semiquincentennial, marking the 250th Anniversary of the Declaration of Independence.
The exhibit will be on display from April 2 to May 2.
Submit Your Artwork—March 30 & 31
For the eleventh year, the Arts Council will hold a Call for Entries show. This year the theme is America the Beautiful, Celebrating 250 Years. The theme coincides with the celebration of the United States’ 250th birthday.
The Call for Entries exhibit will be on display from April 2 to May 2, with an opening reception on Thursday, April 2, from 6 to 8 p.m.
All types of media are accepted, including 2-D and 3-D artwork, poetry, and prose. All artwork should be based on, inspired by, or related to America the Beautiful, Celebrating 250 Years. All 2-D art should be framed and ready for hanging.
Entries will be accepted at the Arts Center on Monday & Tuesday, March 30 & 31, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
We have had great exhibits with these shows in the past, and we hope that you will participate, whatever your artform.
