Color, Shape, Texture Exhibit

Category:Events,Exhibits
The Art Space is closed following the Governor’s directive on March 16.
You are invited to the new exhibit Color, Shape, Texture: Drawings & Textiles at The Art Space in downtown Huntingdon.

Two distinctive art forms demonstrate the blending of color, shape, and texture in this unique exhibit. Paul Amato uses an assortment of pens, markers, and pencils to create colorful abstract designs. The shawls are all made by several local artists using hands and needles, hooks, or looms to create fun and beautiful wearable art. The imagination of all these artists is unleashed in this exceptional combination of both drawings and textiles.

This show includes a sampling of the shawls and wraps of local artisans: Fran Bowman, Sarah Braxton, Sarah Buckley, Claire Butchkoski, Eileen Butchkoski, Marie Campbell, Deb Hetrick, Prudence Ingerman, Pam Kavanaugh, Ginny Mutti, Lona B. Norris, Lucia Panico, Anita Randall, Diane Ross, Kim Roth, Gail Schaeffer, and Elaine Whitesel

The exhibit will be open through Saturday, March 28.

The Art Space is open:
Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, from 12 pm to 6 pm
Saturday from 10 am to 4 pm

The Art Space is located at 212 Fourth Street in downtown Huntingdon.
