Pennsylvania Folk Gathering, September 12-14

The Pennsylvania Folk Gathering is a wonderful weekend of playing, singing, jamming, dancing, and listening to folk music. There are activities for all levels from non-musicians to advanced players, and all ages from mature children through adults are welcome.

Come and enjoy the friendly, relaxed setting at a beautiful camp. Forty workshops in 8-time slots cover a wide range of musical styles and interests, from Irish Tunes to How to Learn Melodies by Ear to Try a Ukulele to Gospel Singing, and much more. Enjoy two concerts, a contra, plus lots of formal and informal opportunities to jam.

Free Events Open to the Public

The event has a fee for the workshops, but there are free events the two evening concerts starting at 7 pm, a contradance, and the Heritage Musician Saturday at 1:15 pm. All of these events are at the main lodge.
