The Raystown Woods, a woodwind ensemble, will perform in concert at the Arts Center on Sunday, May 3, at 2 p.m.
Raystown Woods formed in 2023 as an ensemble of woodwind enthusiasts who meet monthly to make music together, share a lot of laughs, and perform high quality music in the Lake Raystown region of central Pennsylvania. Raystown Woods plays a variety of music, including folk tunes, classical pieces, jazz, renaissance, holiday, and contemporary charts. The Woods have performed at various venues in the area, including local churches and cathedrals, outdoor venues, colleges, and at our rehearsal home, the Huntingdon County Arts Center. The group continues to grow, and we always welcome new members. Please contact our founder and director, Ronica Skarphol Brownson, for more information about joining the ensemble or booking performances at [email protected].
Admission is by donation.
