Beginning Knitting Classes

The start date has been revised.

Prudence Ingerman will lead a Beginning Knitting course for absolute beginners starting on Saturday, June 4.

The class is held from 10 a.m. to noon for four Saturdays at the Huntingdon County Arts Center, 313 12th Street, Huntingdon.

Participants will learn to make a pair of one-stitch slippers in the first class and then will choose their second project either a simple unique scarf or a hat.

Classes are $55 for the general public and $50 for current Arts Council members.
Needles and yarn will be provided.
Class limited to six.

About the Instructor

Prudence Ingerman is an avid knitter. She has also created and taught writing courses at Juniata College for sixteen years.  She has written and illustrated 24 books. Her book, At Home, was recently published by Sunbury Press.
