Art Walk Huntingdon will be on Thursday, March 21! Be sure to look for our mascot, Artie Walker. If you take a selfie with Artie and post it on Facebook, Instagram or X (Twitter) with the hashtags: #IFoundArtie and #ArtWalkHdon, you could win a prize from Artie’s basket at the next Art Walk!
Paint a Wooden Easter Egg at the Huntingdon County Arts Center. Huntingdon County Arts Council also has Line Dancing for all ages 6-7 pm. Spring Thaw, the annual youth art & writing exhibition, features artistic creations from our talented Huntingdon County school students. Entries include paintings, drawings, photography, sculpture, 2-D digital art, poetry, and prose.
Don’t we all like to fidget and move? Come join the Huntingdon Area School District art teachers for paper fidget toy making. Sit with family or friends and chat while enjoying some good ole’ fashioned coloring and leave with a fun fidget toy. This will be a great rainy day activity to store in your memory bank for later! This will take place at the Huntingdon Area High School auditorium lobby.
The Huntingdon County Library will have their All Artists Welcome group-led art activity from 5-6 pm. They will provide a space and kits that you can either do at the library or take with you from 6-7 pm.
The Juniata College Museum of Art celebrates its exhibition The Maya Project with a visit from the Huntingdon County Humane Society and adoptable dogs! Stop in between 5 pm – 7 pm to see this group of 51 pet portraits of Maya the Dog and learn about how you can support pet adoption!
Join a Shamanic Drum Circle at the Huntingdon Health and Wellness Association for Self-Healing and Self-Exploration; For Ages 13 and Above. Please bring a notebook or journal, pen, eye covering, blanket or yoga mat, and drum or rattle if available. The event is free, but donations are always appreciated.

Vienna Serenade in ConcertSituated on the Danube River in Austria, Vienna was the music capital of Europe for many yearsβ€”a place that most of Europe’s leading classical and romantic era composers called home. Vienna is also a city rich in architecture, with many grand buildings, mansions, gardens, monuments, and parks. Get a taste of Old Vienna on Sunday, June 2 at 2 PM, when Vienna Serenade takes the stage at the Huntingdon County Arts Center. The group consists of 11 professional musicians who recreate the glorious music of the 19th century. Hear waltzes and familiar works by Strauss, Dvorak, Waldteufel, and other famous composers, played by musicians who love this music.
