The Summer Arts Camps are weekly sessions, from Monday through Thursday, 9 am to 11 am.
Class size is limited to 15 students.
The cost for each week is $90.

We will have an exhibit of Summer Camp Artwork from the students from August 16 to September 7.
Each week has a different theme!
June 17-20: Comic Con, taught by Kelly Cunningham
Whether you’re a MARVEL or DC comic fan, kids will have the opportunity to create original artwork inspired by their favorite superheroes! Turn yourself into your own comic as we explore the creative process of storyboards, illustrating pop art comics strips and making an original self-portrait worthy of a poster-size frame! We will end the week dressing as our favorite superheroes!

June 24-27: Land, Air & Sea, taught by Kelly Cunningham
From 10,000 leagues under the sea to up in the air as far as the eye can see, nature lovers and those who ponder just how life works from natural creations to man-made constructions will enjoy this week’s theme. Students will create several “hands-on” projects that will touch on animals, weather, modes of transportation and jobs that are found under the sea, on land and in the atmosphere!

July 8-11: Time Machine, taught by Kelly Cunningham
If you’re interested in art history and the artists that paved the way over the centuries and decades, join us this week to learn all about the greatest of greats. These artists broke the rules making art as dramatically diverse as it is today. recreate your own version of some of the most famous pieces found in museums and on the streets around the world. Campers will be making abstract art, sculptures, renaissance style paintings, and have a lesson making “HAPPY LITTLE TREES” using a realist landscape taught Bob Ross style by Kelly.

July 15-18: Puppets, taught by Adam Swartz
Create your own puppets with a master puppeteeer.

July 22-25: Plant & Nature Themed Artwork, taught by Andrea Darby
Picking flowers, hammering plants and painting with nature! There is so much we can learn from the plants and nature around us. Use the beauty of nature to create amazing artworks using pastels, paint, pencils and more!

July 29-August 1: Zentangle & Relax!, taught by Andrea Darby
Summer can be fun and hectic but in Zentangle and Relax you will learn how to use art to calm yourself. Not only will you be calm and have fun but you will leave with some amazing artwork!

August 5-8: Kids Pop Culture, taught by Kelly Cunningham
Don’t feel bad if there was a little too much screen time over the winter! Put those binge watching days to use by applying your favorite pop culture icons into art work! Campers will work in several mediums such as paint, clay and collage to honor their favorites such as Minecraft, Bluey, Star Wars, Barbie, Lego’s, Wednesday, Disney and Super Mario!
