Kids Summer Arts Camps Announced

Two Exhibits On Display

Two simultaneous exhibits are currently on display at the Huntingdon County Arts Center. The first is Granville Galleries–Fine Art Scenic Photography on Canvas. A Tyrone native and Hesston resident, Larry Laird spent 45 years in nursing before retirement rekindled a lifelong passion for photography—one that began with a Kodak Instamatic received as a Christmas gift.

New Mount Union Mural

After years of planning, Mount Union has a new mural celebrating both its present and its heritage. The mural is on the retaining wall at Linear Park, near the railroad tracks along Pennsylvania Avenue. Planning for the mural began in 2023, as an offshoot of the Juniata River Blueprint Community.
